Technique & Dance Making Intensive
July 17 - 21 - 1 week
Intermediate/Advanced Intermediate, Ages 11+
Monday - Friday - 9 - 4pm
Performance Friday July 22
The technique and dance making intensive gives dancers the opportunity to fine tune their ballet, pointe and contemporary technique in a concentrated amount of time as well as explore dance making through improvisation and collaboration. Dancers will learn a classical ballet variation, a pointe variation and contemporary choreography as well as work independently to discover their movement style and collaboratively to create an original dance. Dancers will have two technique classes daily and a field trip to swim weather permitting.
