Join us to learn basic tree pruning techniques on June 29 at from 5: 00- 6:30 at the Woodbury Community Library . This workshop will be led by Anika Adams, farm manager at Elmore Roots. Anika is our neighbor in Woodbury and has been leading pruning workshops for a while. We will be working with some selected apple trees on the school and library grounds. Our goal is to mark trees for pruning next Spring, learn the basics of pruning and the necessary tools. Following the pruning workshop we will identify the plants that are part of the natural landscape and beneficial to pollinators.
Rain date for this hands on workshop is July 6th.
