Elmore Jams "Act One"
Bring your chair or a blanket and plan on hanging out at The Elmore Store Lake Front to listen to some Irish Traditional Music by Knotwork on Monday, June 26th. Annabel and Michael Moynihan with Jul Loose have played together as Knotwork for over a decade. They bring jigs, reels and songs, full of energy and good vibes. Come prepared to tap your toes and maybe dance around on the back lawn beside the picturesque Lake Elmore with the beautiful Elmore Mountain in the background..
The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a cash bar and food by The Elmore Store. 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. you will be entertained by Don Houghton and Ned Houston, a couple of retired folk music enthusiasts from Craftsbury. They have played together as "How Two" for about twelve years. Don plays guitar, while Ned is a banjoist. They have played throughout the Northeast Kingdom at nursing homes, farmers markets, political events, private gatherings, and festivals – including regular appearances at Craftsbury's Antiques and Uniques Festival during non-Covid years. Their music is described as "heartfelt harmonies; singing and playing, simply for the fun of it".
Elmore Jams will continue on Monday evenings throughout the month of July. Mark your calendars and keep them open to come to Elmore to join in the fun, enjoy delicious fare and listen to a variety of great local musicians.
Knotwork will be performing from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Elmore Jams will be cancelled in case of inclement weather. For information or question of cancellation, please call Jason Clark at The Elmore Store, 802 888-2296
