The Unadilla Theater in Marshfield (501 Blachly Rd) will be showing 12 performances of Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance starting next week.

This operetta is filled with upbeat catchy songs, lots of pirates, a bevy of beautiful maidens, a young man with a strong sense of duty, and a Modern Major General. It's a great show for children and adults alike.

Come support the Northfield contingent! Alison Cerutti will be playing the piano accompaniment, Neil Cerutti is the Pirate King (and it is, it is a glorious thing to be a pirate king), and their daughter Emma will be Mabel in 6 of the 12 performances (beginning on opening night).

Emily Milne will sing Mabel in the alternate performances (both will be sisters when not Mabel) including the closing matinee, and Peter Milne will play a pirate in Act 1 and a policeman in Act 2 (tarantara!).

Shows are Thurs, Fri, and Sat at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:30
