More than 25 million Americans over the age of 65 suffer from osteoporosis, but bone deterioration can be prevented. As strength training and fitness improve wellness in younger people , the Bone Builders exercise program significantly improves muscle strength, bone density, balance and promotes increased leisure time physical activity for older individuals.
The free Bone Builders program will begin June 30th at 8:30 upstairs at the Maple Corner Community Center (MCCC). We will start one morning a week and may increase to 2 mornings a week. We have all the weights needed or bring your own.
This can include singing while exercising once everyone is familiar with the routine!
