Writing Vermont: Novelists T. Greenwood and Miranda Beverly-Whittemore Discuss Their Work and Lives in the Green Mountain State

Please join us for an event featuring two local authors, T. Greenwood and Miranda Beverly-Whittemore, as they discuss their latest novels! Tammy Greenwood grew up in Vermont and spends every August at her family camp near Lyndonville. Seven of Tammy’s novels (under her pen name, T. Greenwood) are set on the fictional Lake Gormlaith in the northeastern part of the state. Her most recent novel, Bodies of Water, was nominated for the Lambda Literary Award. Miranda Beverly-Whittemore, the author of three novels, spent three years of her childhood in the Colchester area and now returns throughout the year to her family’s house on Lake Champlain. That same area provided inspiration for Miranda’s New York Times-bestselling novel, Bittersweet, which People called a “mesmerizing gothic thriller.”

Please join Miranda and Tammy at Flying Pig Bookstore in Shelburne for a reading, conversation, and signing at 6 pm on Thursday, August 14. They’ll discuss their novels and the way Vermont has impacted the way they live, work, and write.
