The Barnet Public and McIndoes Academy Libraries welcome all kids to our summer reading kickoff event at the Barnet Fire and Rescue station (151 Bimson Drive) FRIDAY JUNE 23 at 4pm. Meet our local fire fighters, tour our firehouse, hose down some bowling pin "fires", do a scavenger hunt and obstacle course and even get into a fire truck! Summer Reading materials will be available. Adults: Come see if firefighting interests you; We'd love to have more volunteers.
