World Premiere of Rob Mermin's Play "Act 39"

The World Premiere of Rob Mermin's timely play "Act 39, " will run at Haybarn Theater @Goddard College, Plainfield, VT, 6/22-7/2/23, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Act 39 is based on a true story of friendship, and what happened when Rob's friend decided to use Vermont's medical aid in dying law, known as Act 39.

Discussions with Patient Choices Vermont representatives will follow the June 23, 25 and July 2 performances. Lt. Governor David Zuckerman, a key supporter of VT's medical aid in dying legislation, will also participate in the July 2 post-show discussion.
The all-Vermont production team members and cast include professional actors Donny Osman of Plainfield as Bill, J.T. Turner of Morgan as Rob, and Maren & Dominic Spillane of Northfield, along with composer Johnnie Day Durand of Burlington, set & lighting designer Cavan Meese of Glover, director Monica Callan of Waterbury, and playwright Rob Mermin.
