Come make amazing glowing creatures at the library this Friday at 1pm!

Learn to light up colorful LEDs in basic circuits with solar energy. Our solar powered LEDs will then light up the creatures or containers we craft from repurposed plastic packaging. Inspiration will come from marine biology, the lifecycle of plastics and our own imaginations. The newly invented glowing creatures may even turn into characters for stories!

This activity is recommended for ages 11 and up (or younger if they have long attention spans). Space is limited, so it's recommended you call first to register (476-7550 ext. 302) and arrive on time.
