11 – 12 pm: Natural Crafts
Stop in any time 10-12 and get the supplies to make a naturalist's journal, complete coloring pages, or build your own birds nest.
12:30 – 2: Lakeside Watercolors
Sit by the lake and enjoy some landscape water coloring while learning about the environment around you. Supplies provided; feel free to bring your own.
2 – 4: Maple Dendrology
Learn about the history and production of maple syrup, the ways to identify different maple trees, and the grades of syrup that are made here in Vermont and try some for yourself! All ages welcome
Friday 06/23
*10:30 – 12:30: Falls of Lana guided hike
Starting at the National Forest Silver Lake parking area. Join for a hike to the Falls of Lana picnic area with information about the geology and history of the area on the way.
2 - 4: The Endangerment Game
What impact do you think you have on the environment? Meet in the nature center to learn about the past and present endangered species of Vermont and learn about what you can do to keep our ecosystems safe.
*6-8: S'mores + Night Critters talk.
Weather Permitting: Meet at the campfire on the left side of the nature center to make smores and learn about the nocturnal animals that live in Vermont

Free kayak rental included! Limited to first come first serve of ~6 boats. Meet at the Nature Center just before 10:30 to sign up and get gear.
