The Springfield (VT) Community Band will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the Hartness House, 109 Front St (formerly 30 Orchard St), Springfield, VT. 

Band members Danielle St. Amand (flute) and Alex Brady (tenor sax) will conduct.  Both are music educators teaching in local schools.

Soundtracks from movies and Broadway musicals are part of this concert.  Selections will include  "Moana," "Sound of Music" and "Phantom of the Opera," among others.

In addition, the band is planning to reprise Gustav Holst's composition, "First Suite in Eb for Military Band" which it debuted last week.  This piece became a favorite of the band during its winter rehearsals.
