Looking for creative outlets this summer? Open Studio kicks off this Thursday (drop in between 2-4pm) and continues weekly for ALL ages - tots, teens, adults, seniors! The best skill-sharing happens intergenerationally, doesn't it? 🖍 😊
Drop in on Thurs. afternoons to craft, create, and tinker in community company. Try a project or activity suggested by Rec, or plow ahead on a project of your own! Whether you're painting with watercolors or illustrating a comic book, We'll be here to help with ideas, basic supplies, skill sharing, and encouragement (including snacks).
Donations of arts/crafts supplies are *hugely* appreciated to keep the studio stocked as materials are put to use. Thank you for those who have already contributed to prepping the studio room, including the Castleton Free Library, Peggy H, Martie A, and Joan B!
Sign up is required but is free in June. Then, get a $5 Open Studio Pass (per Maker) for the whole month of July. Register online by visiting app.heygov.com. Select the Town of Castleton, then select the Open Studio Pass form.
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Power tools, open flames, and other tools that might be hazardous are not allowed at this time.
