Floral Design Workshop. Led by botanical designer and curator Cornelia Emlen.

Participants will learn to think creatively about form, color and texture. You will learn the basics of floral arranging using in-season foliage and flowers, along with the skills to apply going forward. Cornelia will share some of her tips of the trade!!

What to Bring
Containers: Bring two or more small to mid-sized containers in which flowers will be arranged - one for a large loose gathering, and one for a low centerpiece.

Flowers and Foliage: Either the day before or early in the morning of the workshop, gather a generous assortment of both flowers and foliage, filling at least one full bucket. Bring a wide variety of plant material. Each participant will share some of what they bring with other group members. Members of the Old Meeting House Arts Ministry will provide extra flowers and vases. Tools: Bring a pair of clippers or utility scissors.
