THE RECIPE FOR A SPECTACULAR
2023 BROWNSVILLE, VT
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION !

PREP TIME: Under a year
ENJOYMENT TIME: 3 Days
INGREDIENTS: The best volunteers on the planet, a generous helping of amazing supporters, a dash of incredible music, a smattering of outstanding organizations, and a heaping amount each of spectacular FIREWORKS & a grand PARADE participants!
GARNISH: (not optional) Enthusiastic (new and repeat) attendees!

Where to find the best volunteer ingredient? Look in the Patriot aisle and select the ones that love their country & their town. This selection will add the most incredible "flavor" needed for this special celebration enjoyed by many. (Note, this ingredient has not changed much over the years except to grow some and become better and better at what they do.)

Now the ingredient of amazing supporters is extremely key and our recipe has been so fortunate to find this ingredient, like the volunteer ingredient, all around us – our friends, neighbors, businesses and our Town. We are all very grateful that this is readily available so we can share this celebration with all.

To enhance the incredible "flavor" of this recipe are the outstanding organizations such as the music enjoyed on the 3rd & 4th by the Fire House Dixie Land Band, and on the 4th the abundant breakfast with live music at the Brownsville Community Church, the crafty vendors and wise folks dispensing town information inside Town Hall, the Bouncy Castle behind the church, a Community Barn Dance in the Tribute Park Pavilion, several food vendors feeding the "masses" outside of Town Hall, the Library making sure you have a free library card, the Historical Society & Fast Squad satisfying our sweet tooth with an Ice Cream Social & Fruit Smoothies.

Two of the main ingredients are the SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS DISPLAY on July 3rd on
** Ascutney Mountain (vendors start at 6 with Fireworks at dusk) on the 3rd and the GRAND PARADE in the village of Brownsville at 1:30 on the 4th.

Lastly is the non-optional garnish. The new and repeat attendees are an absolute must!

We appreciate all these "ingredients" and thank you all for making this an incredible celebration!

"Honoring the Past & Embracing the Future" is the theme of the 2023 Brownsville Independence Day Celebrations on July 2nd, 3rd & 4th as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the West Windsor Historical Society!
