In honor of World Refugee Day, Grace Initiative Global is hosting a discussion on the challenges and perils refugees face and recommendations for safety, objectivity, and a path for self-sufficiency. This critical discussion is open to all and will take place at the Manchester Community Library. The event will feature speakers representing UN Women, Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees, and the Permanent Mission of Algeria to the UN. State Representative Seth Bongartz will open the discussion and Executive Director for Grace Initiative Global, Yvonne Lodico, will moderate. The event will conclude with closing remarks from MCL's Executive Director Ed Surjan. We encourage everyone to attend. By learning more about the challenges that refugees face, we can all work together to create a more just and compassionate world.
