For the graphic novel readers, cartoon enthusiasts and doodlers you may know -
This is the first of two drawing workshops with cartoonist, Ashley Jablonski. She will teach the basics of comic and graphic drawing, including story-writing, character and world building, designing panels, and so on. Each participant will work on making a comic of their own to copy and share with others. We will also learn how to fold the drawings into a small zine/comic, and there will be examples of how other cartoonists make comics and zines. Ashley will also bring some of her work to show. All materials will be provided!
