The Historic Society of Clarendon will hold its monthly meeting at 6PM Monday June 19 at the Community Center-Grange Hall (above Bailey Library) on Moulton Ave in North Clarendon Village. There is an elevator.

Phil Mandolare will talk about how we use metal detecting as a tool in our research efforts. Metal detecting can help identify former occupied sites, aid in dating them, and help define what the nature of the site was. Sometimes history sits right below our feet waiting to be discovered.
