I am excited to share with my FPF communities information about an upcoming reggae concert by SunDub, https://sundubmusic.com/music on Friday night, July 14th at Higher Ground https://highergroundmusic.com/events/sundub-3/ in South Burlington.
SunDub is a Brooklyn-based band. I have seen SunDub perform live on a couple of occasions. They burned down the house at Higher Ground in South Burlington last January with their album release national tour, Spirits Eat Music. Check out their music on Spotify, follow them on FB, Insta, etc., and catch them locally on July 14th as part of their summer tour.
Their concert energy, music and album are engaging and empowering; at their last show, they spontaneously invited a 10-year old girl to jump onstage to help lead a call-and-response song to the delight and with the support of the entire audience. Their presence and messages are very real, positive and encouraging (ex. inviting a spiritual connection with loved ones who are no longer alive, finding new ways to love during the pandemic, the environment, etc.)
