This weekend come celebrate JUNETEENTH

Juneteenth, Jubilee Day; Emancipation Day; Freedom Day; Black Independence Day. Now also Juneteenth National Independence Day.

It started as a Texas holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans and is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. June 19th, a day of Jubilee that has been marked and celebrated by African-Americans for 157 YEARS.
