TTSSSS! GLUG GLUG GLUG… Nothing beats the taste of a cold, refreshing glass of ginger beer on a hot summer's day. And did you know that ginger beer contains the same probiotics found in kimchi, sourdough bread, and other fermented foods?? On Sunday, June 25th at 2:00 come to the Lydia Taft Pratt Library, where Dummerston resident Dave Schottland will be giving a short presentation about making your own ginger beer at home.
During this presentation you will learn:
-The benefits of ginger beer (and how it differs from ginger ale)
-How to make your own ginger beer bug (starter)
-Two ways to brew ginger beer
-How to bottle ginger beer
-Supplemental flavoring
So come on by! This program is free to the public and will run about an hour. While walk-ins will be welcome, we'd love to have a rough headcount before the event. So please email presenter Dave Schottland if you think you'll be joining:

Note: This presentation covers how to make ginger beer, but participants will not be making it themselves at the presentation.
