Hi all,
I'm sharing this for folks who might want to participate in broadband discussions. I just got this email, so apologies for the short notice.
From the Vermont Department of Public Services:
Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program and Digital Equity Act
We Want to Hear from You
The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) is kicking off a project to develop Vermont's digital equity plan to bridge the digital divide and ensure all Vermonters have access to affordable broadband as well as the knowledge and equipment to use it. Digital equity is defined as a condition in which all individuals and communities have the information technology capacity needed for full participation in our society, democracy, and economy. Digital equity is necessary for civic and cultural participation, employment, lifelong learning, and access to essential services.
VCBB is holding a virtual listening session Thursday, June 15 from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The links to attend are:
