Sheep & Wool Day returns to Rokeby Museum on Saturday, June 17th. Rain or shine! Sheep farming transformed the historic economy and landscape of Vermont in the early 1800s. At that time, the flock at Rokeby numbered 1,500! Join us for our annual celebration of all things BAAAH!
This family-friendly event will feature the following:

* Live animals from Hands & Heart Farm
* Instrument Petting Zoo with Vermont Folklife & Young Tradition Vermont
* Historic spinning demonstration with The Burroughs Garret
* Printing press demonstrations with A Revolutionary Press
* History farm talks
* Yarn crafts
(No dogs permitted on the property this day due to sheep)
The event will be held rain or shine, with many activities moving indoors if needed.
