I received the following information today that may be of interest to those who are concerned about broadband in our area.

The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) is holding a series of listening sessions across the state in the next couple weeks "to get input on the current state of internet service; barriers Vermonters have accessing, affording, or using it; and what can be done to improve it."

One of the in-person listening session will be in Shoreham on Monday, June 26th from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Platt Memorial Library and is open to anyone in our area.

Light refreshments will be served, $20 gas cards will be available for attendees to offset travel costs, and accessibility accommodations are available (if you plan to attend and will need accommodations, please contact Alex Jeffery at alexander@vernonburggroup.com).
