The next meeting of the "Middlebury Irish Tune Group" will be Monday, June 19, at 7:30 pm, tentatively in the town bandstand.
A small group of us are gathering from time to time this summer to expand our repertoire of traditional Irish tunes. All ages, skill levels, and instruments are welcome. The only requirement is a willingness to try!
The three tunes we will be working on this week are Mairi's Wedding, the Road to Lisdoonvarna, and the Star of the County Down. If you'd like to come, email me for resources, including sheet music and recordings.
