Jen Ellis, the maker of Senator Bernie Sanders infamous inauguration mittens that sparked a meme sensation, has a new memoir entitled Bernie's Mitten Maker. The memoir is about a lot more than the mittens though. This is a book about using crafting and creativity to heal from trauma, inspire generosity, build community, and so much more. Join Jen at the Brownell Library for a book reading, lively book talk, and book signing. Phoenix Books will be in attendance to sell the books, and Vermont Teddy Bear will be there selling mittens.
