Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers in the Town of Monkton that the Listers filed an abstract of Monkton property owners as of April 1, 2023 with the Monkton Town Clerk on June 5, 2023. The abstract may be inspected at the Office of the Town Clerk during regular Town Hall hours.

The Listers will hold a meeting on June 27, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to hear any grievances regarding the lodged abstract.

All grievances must be in writing and received by the Listers no later than June 23, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. Grievances may be sent by regular mail to Listers - PO Box 12, Monkton VT 05469, or by email to Listers@monktonvt.com.

At the close of the grievance hearing the Listers shall make any corrections to the abstract as determined by the outcome of the hearing. The updated abstract will become the Grand List for the 2023 tax year for each taxpayer in the Town of Monkton.
