My name is Jake Leamon and I live in Richmond. I will be graduating from MMU on Saturday and will be attending Middlebury College next fall. I'm an avid fly fisherman as well as filmmaker.

As a way to wrap up my senior year as well as to raise awareness for cold water species conservation, I have created a film called The Wild Side which combines fly fishing and conservation to advocate for the protection of Vermont's wild trout. Topics covered will include stocking, dams, loss of habitat, creel limits, and more. I have also partnered with Vermont Trout Unlimited for the film.

The film will be premiering at Mount Mansfield Union High School Auditorium at 6 PM on June 25th. The runtime of the film will be between an hour and an hour and a half. Cost of admission will be $5. There will also be popcorn, candy, and soft drinks for sale. A portion of the proceeds will go to Vermont trout Unlimited as well. I hope to see you all there next weekend!
