Join Forester, Naturalist, and Author, Lynn Levine, to learn everything you need to know about common ferns of our region. Lynn will take us on a hands-on learning adventure to familiarize us with a variety of common ferns and other natural wonders we encounter. We will meet a the Shrewsbury Meeting House, 88 Lottery Road at 9;00 am for a short presentation and then car pool to a nearby trail.
Every participant will given a signed copy of Lynn's recent book, Identifying Ferns the Easy Way, to use on the walk therefore there is a charge for this special event to cover the cost of the book. This event is limited to no more than 15 people and Registration and prepayment of $10 is required. The guided walk has some uneven/unlevel terrain, variable ground conditions, and moderate hiking. Unless there is hazardous weather, this program will occur rain or shine.
