On Wednesday, June 14th at 6:30PM, veteran journalist and educator Mark Timney speaks on how we can distinguish fake news from the real thing in his talk "Sorting the News from the Chaff." Timney will share strategies for evaluating news sources and how to communicate with others when discussing issues in the news. Dr. Mark Timney has over 25 years of award-winning professional media experience as an educator, reporter, producer, and news anchor, and operated his own advertising and public relations company.
