Hello! My name is Natalie Doehla and I am a new fitness instructor here in Stowe, VT. I am teaching some super fun and sweaty classes right here in Stowe at the Swimming Hole on Weeks Hill Rd 5 days a week. The best part is, classes are ONLY $15, and NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED NOR EXTERNAL FEES APPLY! If you are looking for a great way to exercise within a group environment and some funky music, check out my class schedule below!
All classes involve the use of weighted jump ropes (1/4 and 1/2 lb ropes provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring them!). Jump roping may be something some of you think of as a children's game, but I can ensure you that it is a GREAT and efficient workout for your health. Jump roping is known to increase cardiovascular health, improve bone density, coordination, memory, have extreme efficiency in terms of fat and calorie loss, vastly improve endurance and strengthen muscles -- just to name a FEW of the benefits! In addition, classes involve bodyweight strengthening drills, dumbbell usage, and kettlebells. Friday classes are inclusive to all of the above with additional gym equipment.
Here is my class schedule:
- Classic Rock Mondays: Monday, 7-8am (upper body strengthening and classic rock tunes)
- Tabata Tuesday: Tuesday, 7-8am (full body, bodyweight only, cardio and strength drills)
- Quick Outdoor HIIT: Wednesday, 4:30-5pm (full body strengthening, high intensity interval training, outdoors weather permitting)
- Throwback Thursday: Thursday, 7-8am (lower body conditioning and 80s/90s music)
- Fun Friday Boot Camp!: Friday, 5-6pm (full body strengthening with rotating stations of various gym equipment)
