The Brandon selectboard's Monday night regular meeting (in-person and Zoom options) will include the following non-routine items:
* sitting as wastewater commissioners to award bids for 2023 treatment chemical purchases
* sitting as wastewater commissioners to adopt the 2023-2024 wastewater enterprise fund operating budget
* sitting as liquor commissioners to review permits issued by the town clerk
As the selectboard:
* considering award of contract for a historic preservation commission study (partially grant-funded)
* working through three financial management items from the town treasurer: 1) determining whether to assess a late homestead filing penalty this year; 2) reviewing the annual financial management questionnaire; 3) updating the capital asset policy
* concluding old business tabled from May 22nd meeting: 1) requests for use of 1% tax funds for grant matches and purchases; 2) request for allocation of ARPA funds to the Library project; 3) how to proceed with the highway department's chipper
* endorsing the revolving loan fund committee and economic development director's recommended loan to "Brandon Bakery & Pizza LLC"
* selecting fuel suppliers for fiscal year 2023-2024 based on bids received
