Together we can enrich the earth! Join the Rich Earth Institute for a day of celebrating local food and the cycles that sustain our lives. The Jubilee will feature art, music, food, and activities from local groups, including: printmaking with harvests from local farms with the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, food cultures from new Vermonters with the Multicultural Community Center, songs from Jay Bailey of Fair Winds Farm, bicycle-powered smoothies from the Bellows Falls Community Bike Project, demonstrations of VermiCompost, vegan and organic snacks from SuperFresh Cafe, Grateful Greens microgreens, music by Aura Shards, and more. From 3:30-4:30, presentations, music, and award announcements will be featured on the gazebo stage.
We will also have a special celebration of Rich Earth's peecycling community, including the esteemed 2022 Piss-Off winners! Rich Earth runs the nation's first and largest community-scale urine nutrient recycling program. Come to learn more about becoming a urine donor–to keep nutrients out of our waterways, complete the food nutrient cycle, and support farms with an abundance of local fertilizer.
