A reminder that the Isle LaMotte Rec Department is sponsoring an event this Saturday for CIDER. Champlain Islanders Developing Essential Resources - Is a membership organization whose mission is to develop and foster resources that enable the people of Grand Isle County to live in their community with dignity. CIDER accomplishes this by providing direct services and collaborating with other individuals and groups to assist older adults and people with disabilities. CIDER is also always looking for volunteers for a variety of positions for drivers, meal delivery individuals, people to help around the home and companionship.

CIDER features resources for mobility impaired individuals such as wheelchairs, walkers, etc. whether it be temporary or for more permanent needs. Come learn more about CIDER, become a member, find out about getting services or volunteer and pick up a free t-shirt!
