Last Days at Foster Gardens!!
And just like that, the Plant Stand is winding down:( Foster Gardens will be set up at Dixie's Country Kitchen in Sharon thru this coming Wednesday, June 14!! We're open 10am-6pm daily and 9-6 on Saturday, as life, weather and work allow.
We have had fun sharing our beautiful flowers and veggie starts with you, a little closer to town than the greenhouse😎 It's so much fun hearing what a great selection we have! We still have lots of flower, vegetable and herb starts, hanging baskets and decorative pots. Stop by and take some home so we don't have to:)
So many tomatoes (celebrity, Pruden's purlple, moskvich, Copia, Ox Heart, Martha Washington, Jet star, big beef plus, brandywine, black krim, Cherokee purple,san marzano, amish paste, Juliet, Super Nova grape, sweet 100, black and large red cherry), peppers (green and golden bell, big red, lunchbox, lively orange, picnic orange, and carmen), hot peppers (lemon spice jalapeno, habanero, shishito, Hungarian hot wax, Czech hot black, anaheim chili, serrano chili, five color, biquinho blend, and poblano), tomatillos, ground cherries, various herbs (tarragon, lemon grass, eucalyptus, lavender, rosie and holy basils, organo, sage, thyme, parsley, marjoram), vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, squash, pumpkins, watermelon) and all kinds of flowers (begonias, fuchsia, angelonia, lisianthus, various petunias and supertunias, lobelia, bacopa, verbena, sunpatiens, dianthus, lantana, and double impatiens) and foliage plants (Dracaena spikes, dichondra, hibiscus, vinca vine, irisene and sweet potato vines) all want to be in the ground and growing beautifully in your gardens:)
As always, we take back pots, trays and inserts for reuse! We are especially low on 4" pots, square or round, short or tall, 4 packs, and hanging baskets with attached saucers. Unfortunately, we have an overabundance of the larger landscape pots. I'm happy to share if you need some:) Save them for the Gardener's Supply pot recycling day on Saturday, June 24!!
