Meet Vermont heroes who are protecting Vermont's wild places, wildlife and waters!

Please join us for this family friendly event 6:30- 7:30 on September 14, 2023 at the Pierson Library in Shelburne for short readings from Our Better Nature and conversation with author Alicia Daniel (Executive Director of the Vermont Master Naturalist Program) and editor Curt Lindberg (Founder for the Vermont Alliance for Half-Earth).

The book Our Better Nature is a collection of beautiful photographs and stories about scientists, conservationists and creative citizens. They are showing us how we can lend a helping hand to our state's wild places and animal neighbors!

This book and this event offer messages of hope for the Green Mountain State's natural world.
