On June 12th @ 6:00pm, the Reading Energy Committee will be presenting a proposal to the Select Board regarding the development of the first town owned solar array designed to produce enough electricity to power all town buildings. The project will significantly reduce the town's cost for GMP produced power, reduce our carbon footprint as outlined in the town plan, and increase the town's long-term energy sustainability.
