Our June ecstatic dance date is 6/9. Everyone is Welcome!
"Ecstatic" refers to the Five Rhythms of the dancer and musician Gabrielle Roth: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness. Each dance session starts with a 15-minute playlist and then an introductory circle where the practice is described. The main playlist starts with Flowing, passes through Chaos, and ends in Stillness. We get up and move with the music for about an hour. For those who love to dance, it can be heaven and for shy dancers it is a safe place to move. To close the evening, we sit in circle again with optional sharing opportunities.
No fee but donations accepted for room rental.
Location: Creative Healing and Fitness Center. 518 Main Street, Lyndonville . 6-8pm.
