Yee haw! Join us for Montpelier's monthly old time square dance! Local stringband, Kick 'Em Jenny, will play high octane southern tunes with Jenny Monfore calling. No experience or partner necessary! Cheap beer, $5 suggested donation.

Kick em Jenny is a six piece old-time band from Vermont. They are comprised of a variety of instruments including: Twin Fiddles, Banjo Uke, Guitar, Bass, and Banjo. They intersperse their ‘volcanic’ rockin’ old-time fiddle tunes with traditional songs and harmonies. Recently, a well-known dance caller pronounced Kick em Jenny as one of the top four square dance bands in the country! They play a variety of venues: square dances, bars, harvest festivals, weddings and special events.
