This Friday in our Paper Mache Cathedral Bread and Puppet Theater will be hosting Vermont's own Johanna Rose and her performance of "Unreasonable Enthusiasm" a doll house experience.

"Unreasonable Enthusiasm" is a living found art project by Johanna Rose. Seventeen years in the making, "Unreasonable Enthusiasm" houses sentimental artifacts: a recklessly curated collection of carefully placed chicken bones and cigarette butts. Never complete, the project continues to be updated periodically and shown through out the country.

Unconfined by genre or medium, Johanna Rose is an Artist, Musician, and Street Poet. Her music floats like a hummingbird through the spaces between Jazz, Folk, Country, and Punk, drinking from each, but possessed by none. A songwriter and bandleader as well as an accomplished instrumentalist, she tours throughout the year with a wide variety of projects. Her heart lives in Vermont, in the treehouse she built with own hands, her soul is performing in the streets of New Orleans, and her body can be found wherever the wind has blown it, with the dollhouse that has served as her diary and lifelong art project in tow.
