The electric motor was invented in 1837 by Thomas Davenport from Brandon VT. In his honor, a festival has been created to feature machines powered by an electric motor--currently featuring electric vehicles, car chargers, bikes, and lawn and field mowers and the like. The featured speaker that day is from the Smithsonian Institution. So, if you would like to learn more about this equipment and the rebates you can get form their purchase, this year's festival takes place:
July 8th, 2023
from 12-5pm
at Otter Valley High School, 2997 Franklin St, Brandon, VT
