Celebrate birds, bugs, plants, pollinators, and all the other creatures that call Vermont home in this summer nature festival.
Saturday, June 10 at North Branch Nature Center (NBNC) in Montpelier
FREE for all ages
Co-presented by NBNC and Vermont Center for Ecostudies
Tickets required ONLY for keynote program given by Doug Tallamy - exemplary author of "Bringing Nature Hope" and "Natures Best Hope".

Starting a 9am, there will be a day full of nature outings, insect exhibits, kids activities, live songbirds, birds of prey, music, food, art, and more! Explore the woods and meadows, and bring your discoveries back to our naturalist-staffed laboratory tent equipped with microscopes, guides, and specimens. Learn how to get involved in research like VCE's Vermont Butterfly Atlas, and NBNC's new Mushroom Mapping Project. Then find out what you can do to protect biodiversity in your own backyard or community!
