A few community members and SCS staff members are volunteering their time to coordinate voluntary walk/roll-to-school events for SCS students. Families can drop (or join) kids off at the Pierson Library by 7:30am, on Wednesdays and a group will walk from the center of Shelburne to the school by 7:50am. We will continue this Walk/Roll Event each Wednesday morning through the end of the school year! (We will not be including bus riders, as we have in years past.) Students will follow their regular dismissal plan at the end of the day.

My name is Barb Johnson and I live on Falls Rd near the post office. I will be walking from my home on Wednesdays June 7 and 14. It takes 10 minutes to walk from my home to the Pierson. Join me at the corner of Falls and Laplatte Circle at 7:15 if you and your child would like to walk to school from there!
