One of the Bristol Democratic committee's objectives this year was to learn more about how to reduce the use of fossil fuels by promoting walking and biking.

First, we will have an update from Chris Dabica who heads the Bristol Select board's Bristol Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee. This will be followed by Kati Gallagher of VNRC who will discuss what other communities are doing in Vermont and Susan Grasso, from a non-profit called Local Motion (LM), who will present key basic strategies for municipalities to increase rates of walking and biking for transportation. Susan will also provide a brief overview of LM's past involvement in Bristol.
