Bennington Cares is a group of community members supporting our local elementary schools and their community. The UU provides us a space to meet, but the group is nonreligious.
Please join us in supporting our school communities by attending school board meetings, volunteering at schools, helping with after school programing, reaching out to both state and community leaders and more.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, Bennington Cares volunteers directly acknowledged the contributions of teachers at Bennington Elementary, Molly Stark Elementary, and Monument Elementary. Volunteers provided a homemade breakfast for teachers at Bennington Elementary and delivered flowers, and cards signed by the group, to Molly Stark and Monument.
