On Saturday, June 10th, from 10am to 12pm, Franklin County NRCD and the Montgomery Conservation Commission are hosting a Bioblitz event at the Montgomery Town Forest!
A "bioblitz" is an event in which guests are invited to explore, identify, and document all the different trees, wildflowers, insects, mammals, birds, and other critters that are present in an area. Local naturalists will be available to help guide guests through the identification and documentation process. Together we can learn about all the beautiful wildlife the Montgomery Town Forest has to offer! Guests of all ages are encouraged to join the fun!
Forest trails can be uneven, so please prepare and bring walking shoes or hiking boots. The walk to the Town Forest site will be approximately 1 to 1.5 miles in length.
To RSVP, please email info@FranklinCountyNRCD.org or call (802)-528-4185.
