As I've played around the state's many towns with my bands for the last 6 decades, I've often wondered "Why don't we do this in Huntington"? So with the Select Board's approval, I'm taking a leap of faith and doing 4 shows featuring local artists to bring the community together for some fun filled end-of-summer nights: 8/2 The Dimmer Triplets; 8/9 The Fog; 8/16 Rik Palieri and Bill Ellis and 8/23 Red Hot Juba. Each show will be a fundraiser for various Huntington organizations: The Birds of VT Museum, HERO, Huntington Holiday boxes and Edward Heyman's Soup's On. Hindquarter will have food for sale and works by The Huntington Valley Arts Association members will be on display and for sale. I'm looking for businesses and individuals who might want to help me underwrite this, as my budget is $0.00. All money donated will be spread between the musicians and the featured organizations.
