The VT Bluegrass Pioneers (Danny Coane, guitar/banjo/vocals; Banjo Dan Lindner, banjo/guitar/vocals; Willy Lindner, mandolin/vocals and Sam Blagden, bass/vocals) will make a personal appearance at the Whammy Bar (rear of Maple Corner Store, Calais) this Fri June 2 from 7 - 9pm. No cover, but donations requested. They will also be appearing at the Ladder 1 Grill (Firehouse), Barre on Thurs June 8 from 6 - 8:30pm. Again, no cover, but donations appreciated. Good chance to hear real-deal, old-school bluegrass music played by local musicians who are well-versed in and have played this music for many years.
