The weather looks good this weekend and we will be having another garden swap Sunday June 4th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Pingala Cafe will be our gracious host again and we will meet at the picnic tables out front. The swaps are very laid back and neighbors can add anything they want to swap on the tables and take anything they want to bring home.
Here are a few things to keep in mind for swaps:
1. The best swapping time seemed to be from 11:00 to Noon but feel free to stop by when you can!
2. Please do not bring any invasives to the swap. We didn't have any neighbors bring any last time but I figured it would be best to keep that as the only firm "rule"
3. Please label what you bring and make sure it's in a container for easy planting. You can also write down any care instructions (partial shade/full sun/etc).
4. Bring baskets, cardboard trays or any other transport method to bring home your new plant friends!
There will be seedling starter trays at the swap to assist you with gathering plants. There will also be paper bags along with plant name markers in case people forget to label something.
Feel free to bring any extra seeds, starts, perennials, honey, herbs or anything else you would like to swap. If you have any questions please let me know!
