The Greensboro Community Garden will hold its annual planting day on Saturday, June 3 from 9 to 11 AM at the Garden on the Town Green. The forecast is for mid 50s - perfect for planting - after the storm on Friday hopefully breaks this heat wave we are currently experiencing 😰

—Come at 9AM to see expert gardener Carol Fairbank demonstrate using a broadfork to prep the in-ground beds using "no-till" farming.
—Stop by to help sow some seeds or plant some seedlings.
—Join us after dropping off your recycling to meet your neighbors and share/learn gardening tips and techniques.
—Sign up to help our garden grow over the Summer. All volunteers in the garden are eligible to take home some of the harvest to enjoy the fruits of their labors.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Bring your gardening spirit and positive energy. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
