Juniors from Hinesburg Girl Scout Troop 30463 are working on their Bronze Award, the highest honor Juniors can achieve. The last step in earning the award is a community project and we need your help! We are collecting personal care products and birthday celebration items to assemble Personal Care and Birthday Celebration Kits. These kits will be distributed to local organizations who can make them accessible to the community. We have already collected some items from some generous businesses. Here are some items we are still in need of:
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Body Lotion
• Boxes of cake mix
• 9x14 Aluminum pans
• Frosting tubs
• Birthday cards
• Birthday gift bags
• Birthday plates and napkins
• Birthday candles
• other personal care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc, ) will also be accepted
Donations can be dropped off at the Carpenter Carse Library through June 10th. Donations can also be dropped off at the Hinesburg United Church on June 10th from 9-12pm.
